I keep trusting someone to give a damn and put forth a reciprocating effort equal to my own. That’s not realistic. People have their own stories, vices, triggers, problems and ways to work things out. They’re not obligated to feel the way I do; see things the way I do and/or resolve matters the way I do. Expecting too much I keep burning myself on the same match.
